Procurement Services is responsible for purchasing all goods and services for the university, from pens and pencils to state-of-the-art facilities. Our expenditure categories include academics, athletics, agriculture, construction, healthcare, and research and development.

We manage over 1,000 contracts for goods and services and additional contracts for construction and professional services. Over $1.4 billion in expenditures are under management annually through the procurement office. 

As we work to expand our mission to advance Kentucky, we will enhance our on-campus footprint as well as grow our impact across the state through over $5B in construction projects planned over the next five to seven years. This growth will allow UK to provide and enhance the services it provides to the citizens of Kentucky.
